Moonshots

My moonshots are ambitious projects that I have undertaken which push me out of my comfort zone and add meaning in my life

//printf (“coding”)

I have always believed in the power of computers and tech, having tinkered with motherboards since childhood. In an attempt to solidify my coding base, I am pursuing courses in C based programming currently. High-level object-oriented languages and statistics are my hobby.

Giving Back

I would not be where I am today without education and technology. Hence, my endeavours since many years has been to work and contribute in education and digital up-skilling for the underprivileged through my time and money.
1) Volunteering with Umang, a school for underprivileged children.
2) Lead for the Indus Googler Network, Dublin - the largest Employee Resource group in Google.
3) Currently,
a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum. This allows me to collaborate and work with local civic authorities, governments, NGOs and corporates during my weekends.

Cultural Fluency

Surprise, surprise - I love traveling like many of you. Yet, for me traveling is a way to understand cultures and hence people better. My goal of cultural fluency is for quickly and deeply being able to empathise with people from around the globe.
1) Learning a new language each year - currently on French and next is Spanish.
2) Continue with my travels, including far flung places like Cambodia and Bhutan; with locals.
3) Started a Google Explorers Club to help organise trips with the goal of building cultural sensitivity.
